    • WWII (Dec. 7, 1941 to Dec. 31, 1946)
    • Korean Conflict (June 27, 1950 to Jan. 31, 1955)
    • Vietnam (Aug. 5, 1964 to May 7, 1975)
    • Persian Gulf (Sept. 2, 1990 to present)
  • Was the surviving spouse married to the veteran at the time of the veteran’s death?
  • Do you need financial assistance to help pay for the care you need?
  • Does the veteran or surviving spouse of a veteran require assistance for the activities of daily living? (ex: bathing, dressing, medication management, etc.)
  • Will the assistance from other people be paid for on an ongoing basis?

If the answers are YES, you may be eligible for the program.

Monthly Benefit Amounts

$1,949 – Veteran and Spouse
$1,644 – Single Veteran
$1,056 – Surviving Spouse
